Behind the Blumes

Stable Hall Summer Showcase

Stable Hall Summer Showcase - Case Study by Amanda Blissit

At Stable Hall

When Stable Hall began envisioning the next chapter of the venue, the direction was clear: darker, moodier, and deeply rooted in a luxe lifestyle aesthetic inspired by Ralph Lauren countryside elegance.

The goal was to create a space that embraced the venue’s growing identity as a concert and music hall while still feeling warm, editorial, welcoming, and approachable.

For Blume Haus, the challenge was designing florals that enhanced the atmosphere without competing with the venue’s dramatic interiors.

The Vision

The floral direction centered around richness, texture, and warmth.

The palette featured:

  • velvety hunter greens
  • butterscotch and caramel tones
  • warm neutrals
  • layered countryside-inspired textures

Every floral moment was designed to feel lush, collected, and effortless — bringing softness and movement into the dark, architectural space.

Designing the Space

The Entry Lounge

The enormous stallion painting inside the entry lounge became one of the event’s defining focal points.

To match the scale and drama of the artwork, we created grand urn arrangements overflowing with layered blooms, textural foliage, and cascading elements that framed the space beautifully while still feeling warm and inviting.

The installations instantly transformed the lounge into a statement arrival moment.

The Stage

Because the band would not occupy the full stage, florals were used to visually “bring the stage in” and create a more immersive performance environment.

Layered floral installations stretched across the front of the stage, adding movement, warmth, and dimension beneath the concert lighting throughout the evening.

The Balconies

The balcony florals were designed to highlight the upper mezzanine as a future VIP viewing and private event experience.

Lush floral moments lined the railings, drawing attention upward while softening the venue’s dramatic architecture and creating a more intimate atmosphere throughout the space.

The Bud Vase Bar Experience

One of the most interactive moments of the evening was the custom Bud Vase Bar activation.

Working alongside local partners, we custom designed:

  • branded walls
  • floral bars
  • display shelving
  • curated vessels
  • custom branded tags with cheeky sayings
  • leather-inspired ribbon details to tie into the overall event aesthetic

Some bud vases were pre-designed for guests wanting a quick grab-and-go experience, while others hand-selected their own blooms and designed miniature arrangements alongside the Blume Haus team.

Guests carried their florals throughout the evening, photographed them, and naturally gathered around the activation all night long.

The experience became more than decor — it became part of the energy of the event itself.

The Outcome

The Stable Hall Summer Showcase beautifully reflected the venue’s evolving identity — immersive, elevated, and experience-driven.

From dramatic floral installations to interactive guest moments, every design decision was created to enhance atmosphere, encourage connection, and make guests feel completely immersed in the space.

Because the best floral design doesn’t just decorate a venue.

It enhances the way people experience each event.
